DESCRIPTION

How do zip codes indicate luck? This 60-minute presentation examines how where we live determines the resources and opportunities we receive—and how society is designed to keep some people from being "lucky."

After attending this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the correlation between zip codes and the resources available to diverse groups.
  2. Examine their own attitudes and challenge their own perceptions.
  3. Recognize that change is possible when we look for opportunities to connect to one another and explore solutions together.
